Children’s Village, in Coeur d’Alene Idaho, needs your help.
The Mission of the Children’s Village is to care for, advocate and provide a safe, loving, nurturing and healing home for children. Those children, ages birth to age 18, who have been abused, neglected, homeless, or are in severe family crisis may be served.
The Governing Board has developed a strategic plan for future growth. With the occupancy of both of the existing homes near capacity, a third home is needed. A capital campaign has begun and plans for the third home are being prepared. There is a need for financial support to build this home that will care for an additional 12 children, classrooms, recreation space, offices and transition apartments. The development and planning committee needs professionals in the building industry that will commit to helping with volunteer labor, professional services and materials. Those interested may call the office and speak with the administrative team. The Children’s Village is a non profit corporation serving children and families in need.
