Well, unfortunately Coeur d’Alene didn’t rank on the actual list of the Ten Best Places to Live. Where we did rank was on the Emerging Metropolitan Areas, number 5 in fact. My best guess as to what this means is that there aren’t enough people that know about Coeur d’Alene for us to ‘compete’ in Sperlings Top 10 Best Places to Live list. It’s not good, it’s not bad (although some would argue it’s terrible, that if we do rank on the list we’ll be inundated with more people) it just is. I have to say, it’s definitely one of the best places I’ve ever lived in the United States and I’ve lived in a lot of places!!
