It’s quite amazing really – so much snow + so much heat = so much water. Here are some pics of downtown Coeur d’Alene. I’ll be posting a video of the Post Falls dam flow in another post.
- Not nearly as high as the Spring 1997 run-off
- So high that pathways are closed off
- Literally no beach area (too cold to swim anyway)
- Independence point is up to it’s top step
- This is supposed to be a parking lot
- No parking vacancies available
- The lake needed a few parking spaces
- Although these are taken on ‘crest day’, the lake is slightly lower in this picture than it’s peak this year
- This parking lot was flooded in 1997, not so this year
